The exciting adventures of Sherlock Homes and Dr
Watson give you goose bumps. Written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the story is
based on a Baronet whose family is said to be haunted by a beastly hound. The
father of the Baronet was killed by the hound while he went for a walk outside his
mansion. Horrified by his father’s death, the Baronet goes to Sherlock Holmes
who, he believes, can solve the mystery.
As the story
progresses, the mystery gets more mysterious. Holmes sends Dr Watson with the
Baronet for his protection. But, Sherlock Holmes, disguised as a common man,
lived in a cave and at last found the hound and killed him with a gun. The
hound was a simple dog but fed very well which made him look like a great
hound. A chemical was also there which made him glow.
The writing of Doyle,
as always, was fantastic and makes you to continue reading. The adventures were
breath-taking. I’m sure you will love it.
